Meet Lee Ashe, the new Water Quality Action Specialist for the National Rural Water Association’s USDA Decentralized Wastewater Program in Arizona. His job is to help small towns and rural communities with their wastewater needs and get the free technical help they require.
He's here to sit down with local officials, homeowners, and community groups to listen to their wastewater challenges and work together on real solutions. Whether it’s putting together a Wastewater Community Assessment Report, creating a practical action plan, or helping implement fixes like system repairs, funding applications, or better maintenance practices, Lee's available to guide you through every step at no cost to the community.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience running wastewater plants and managing large repair projects, Lee understands how overwhelming these issues can feel for small communities. His goal is to make the process simple, clear, and successful, so your town or neighborhood can have reliable, long-lasting wastewater systems.
If you’re part of a small or rural Arizona community dealing with wastewater problems, please reach out and see how he can help.
